Top-notch pizza, oysters, natural wine, and craft cocktails. I’m there. De La Nonna is SUCH A VIBE. It’s giving Italian/Amalfi coast summers mixed with LA backyard pool party. A mixed crowd ranging from families with small humans (it me), influencers in the wild, foodies, and date nighters.
Northeast LA Food HypeGirl Series featuring all of my neighborhood finds starting with my FAVE find so far: Dough Box Pizza. I thought I've had all the best pizza in LA, but Dough Box pizza is like SERIOUS next level! Break that ketosis bitch and forget your low-carb diet because the dough is so good here, you cannot throw away the crust. Crispy yet perfectly soft and chewy. They offer Chicago deep dish and NY pan style - best of both worlds.
Girl & the Goat is originally from Chicago and I first heard about it back in 2016 when I visited for the first time. It was highly recommended by locals. Unfortunately, there were no reservations available during our visit (duh) so I bookmarked it for our next trip. Welp, we haven’t gone back to Chicago since BUT thankfully Girl & the Goat came to us. So on top of the 4 months we had to wait for our reservation is another 5 years of anticipation. WORTH THE WAIT? 100% YAS.
After a long year of being stuck at home + avoiding certain food/alcohol due to pregnancy :), I’m ready to hit the town with my little family. Sharing with you my must-try spots for this summer AKA my Summer 2021 LA Hit List. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these places and if they’re worth the hype!
I’m not vegan, but I love vegans, dining with my favorites friends who happen to be vegan, hanging at these cool vegan spots, and vegan food.
In an unassuming strip mall in Encino, you’ll escape to an exceptional outdoor omakase experience - 17 courses with an optional drink pairing including sake and Japanese whisky cocktails. Bar seating aka front row seats to see the swanky sushi chefs work their nigiri magic. Limited to 8 people for each dining hour giving you an intimate dinner party feel, even though your party is safely separated from other parties with plexiglass :).
My top 20 takeout spots in Los Angeles! Now, more than ever, it is important to support our local businesses. And I know I’m not the only one tired of cooking…

Korean food is GOOD MOOD FOOD. It’s an entire eating culture all centered around comfort and a good time. Tokki brings that concept to life BIG TIME. Their menu is Korean-based, but with a unique twist and influence from other cuisines. All dishes are meant to be shared so bring all your friends and order everything!
