It’s not too late to change dinner plans and order in to celebrate tonight. Support your local businesses!!
Read MoreFilipino food is super garlicky, saucy, salty, sour, meaty, and so damn delicious. And the best part? Some dishes are very easy to make and require very few and a lot of the same ingredients. Btw. I’m not a chef, ok, so don’t hate on my imprecise recipes. If you’re looking for that, you’re on the wrong site.
Read More“LA pizza is garbage .” Ok, we get it. The east coast may have some bomb pizza, but LA PIZZA IS NOT GARBAGE. Not anymore, at least. I’ve lived here for about 8 years now and I can confirm that LA’s pizza game has progressively gone up.

Read MoreWe made a “quarantine date night bucket list” of restaurants that offer delivery/take out. The list includes some we’ve been wanting to try for a while and other all-time-faves. I’ll be updating this post throughout the quarantine as we try them.
Read MoreThere are very little things better than a delicious bowl of ramen on a rainy day. As a kid living in Japan, I have very distinct memories of running into hole-in-the-wall ramen joints trying to escape the pouring rain. Ramen is MY comfort food. While LA doesn’t have a lot of rainy days, we do have a ton of ramen. The craze hit a few years ago and new ones just keep poppin up, but of course- I have my go-tos.

Read MoreI’m constantly being asked for recommendations on where to eat in LA and my answer is hardly ever the same. With so many restaurants and many more popping up constantly, the list of “hot spots” is constantly evolving. I wanted to make a list of LA “classics” that have consistently exceeded expectations. First edition: dinner dates. My go-to restaurants for date nights or GNO…
Read MoreThai food is uniquely flavorful with the perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty and SPICY. Love that every dish has a kick that can be customized to your liking. Thailand has been at the top of my travel bucket list for quite some time now mainly for the food. I am dying to visit the famous floating markets and enjoy Thai street food. In the meantime - so thankful for so many great and authentic Thai restaurants here in LA. A list of my faves…
Read MoreThere’s always something poppin’ in LA, but sometimes it’s nice to get away for a few. If you’re feeling the same vibe—a quick day trip getaway to relax—Santa Barbara is it. A very low-maintenance trip that doesn’t require lots of planning.

Read MoreIf you're wondering where to travel next, just drop all other plans and head to Santorini, Greece. It is truly heaven on Earth. Years ago, I saw one picture of the blue domes and calderas and immediately fell in love. I remember immediately googling for flights from LAX to Thira and the $3k round trip ticket confirmed that Santorini will have to be admired from afar. Last year when Chris and I started to plan our honeymoon, we were determined to find a way to Santorini without spending our entire wedding budget.
Read MoreNowadays all I crave is Korean food! The thought of living anywhere more than 20 minutes away from Koreatown gives me anxiety. While I love so many restaurants in Koreatown, these 8 have consistently been my go-to's for the last few years.
Read MoreAfter the Popeye's hot chicken sandwich craze, I think KFC was feeling a little left out of the hype. An awesome attempt to steal the show and get back in America's chicken lime light - KFC is introducing a new and limited edition menu item: FRIED CHICKEN & DONUTS! And what better place to gain hype than Los Angeles.
Read MoreI lived in Sicily about 15 years ago and visited Rome often, but didn't quite experience the food and sights like I did in our most recent trip. Chris and I decided to stop in Rome for 2 days on the way back from Greece. While we would have loved to enjoy a couple more days here, 2 full days ended up being just enough time to eat (A LOT), see, and feel the beauty of Rome. ENJOY!
Read MoreWe visit NYC just for pizza (amongst other debauchery) and Prince Street is ALWAYS on our list. These "square pies" are known for their delicious baby spicy pepperoni cups, but everything about it from the perfectly crispy yet soft dough/crust to the sauce is effing delicious. PSP is absolutely worthy of the hype. My mouth is watering just thinking about it and I literally just had 2 slices last night.
Read MoreBarcelona is full of culture, art, and amazing food. It will always hold a special place in my heart because it was our first "double date" trip with my favorite couple - my mom and dad. I was so happy to experience this beautiful city with 3 of my favorite people. Enjoy!
Read MoreSun's out, buns out. I often crave burgers and beer on warm days (which is - like - every day in LA). When we're not devouring In-N-Out animal style cheeseburgers and fries, we are for sure having a beer and burger at one of these cool spots. Enjoy!
Read MoreKobe was a part of my family's life for as long as I can remember. I grew up loving Kobe for so many reasons, but I admired his INTENSE passion the most - and how he shared it with all of us. When he made a shot, we felt the success and the pride. When the Lakers lost, we all lost. He let us in on the joy and the pain. He taught us how to bleed purple and gold.
Read MoreParis is always a good idea - and I wouldn't recommend anything less than a week. A full week allows you to do all the fun, touristy stuff but also gives you a taste of a true Parisian lifestyle.
