2 shots
Okay, so it’s been a minute. Ok more like years. But I’ve had a few things going on—like adding a whole new human to the mix.
Mateo Cooper aka Teo. Our second baby boy, born last July, and already acting like he runs the place (because, let’s be real, he kinda does). He’s active, observant, and has the most contagious smile.
And then there’s Nico. My OG. Turning four next month, which feels impossible because I swear I was just packing his hospital bag yesterday. Now he’s over here negotiating bedtime like a lawyer and showing off his multiplication skills. He surprises me daily with how much he knows, how big his heart is, and how naturally he stepped into the role of Kuya.
Going from one kid to two? It’s like going from one glass of wine to two shots—suddenly everything’s more intense, more chaotic, more real. But also more fun, more full, more us.
I also started a new job somewhere in the chaos, because why not throw a career pivot into the mix?
And me and Chris? This new chapter of parenting two is definitely different—but it’s made us closer. Less about big romantic gestures, more about supporting each other and growing together in every way. Celebrating tiny wins and tag-teaming everything from diapers to bedtime. Somehow, even in the mess, we’re more connected than we’ve ever been.
Life’s not perfectly curated over here—but it’s real, it’s growing, and it’s good. Happy to be back on here sharing a little piece of it again.
More soon,
E
